TAC securely connects user’s desktop through browser from any device, anywhere
MARLBOROUGH, MA – March 10, 2020 – PortSys®, a global innovator in information security and Zero Trust access control for the enterprise, today announced that Total Access Control™ (TAC) now provides native publishing support for Citrix, making it easier for users to connect to Citrix desktops securely from any device, anywhere.
TAC now securely delivers the Citrix Workspace Suite to any modern device, including smartphones, PCs, Macs, Linux and Chromebooks, without installing a Citrix client. This non-invasive update is immediately available.
A critical flaw recently discovered in Citrix software could enable hackers to install arbitrary code, opening corporate networks to potential unauthorized access and hacking. TAC’s Zero Trust approach makes browser-based Citrix deployments much more secure, while also making it easier for end users to connect to their desktops from anywhere.
TAC’s advanced Single Sign-On technology enables end users to easily access their Citrix Workspace and desktops securely from any device. Access is controlled by leveraging multi-factor authentication in conjunction with context of access controls – delivering a higher level of assurance that users and their devices are who they claim to be.
TAC also eliminates the requirement to maintain any Citrix client software by delivering a rich desktop experience via any HTML5 capable browser. Organizations can simply convert existing Citrix deployments by selecting the browser environment in TAC’s menu. TAC also provides detailed auditing of Citrix desktop sessions to identify trends and events that help organizations to more effectively manage their security posture.
