PortSys announces limited availability of Total Access Control in Beta release

Marlborough, Mass. April 14, 2015. PortSys announces the initial availability of their Total Access Control product in the Beta release effective immediately.

PortSys, Inc. announces the limited release of the new Total Access Control solution. TAC is now available to select customers in this Beta release.

Total Access Control is designed to help organizations control access from any device in any location to corporate resources regardless of where they are located (local datacenter or cloud). TAC is a brand new architecture that consolidates many of the different ways organizations utilize to provide access to information for their employees, partners and customers.

TAC enables mobility, provides an increased level of security for the corporate infrastructure and makes access simpler for end users. This extends to resources that do not reside in the corporate datacenter but may reside in public or private clouds.

TAC combines technologies such as VPN, SSL/VPN, MDM, Cloud Access, Application Firewall, Single Sign-on, Portal-based access, Acceleration and more into a single, highly scalable product that provides a much higher level of security at a much lower total cost of ownership.

Michael Oldham, CEO of PortSys said:

“PortSys is very pleased to bring to market this first-of-its-kind product. By combining so many different ways of access into a single product solution, Total Access Control gives organizations a new, comprehensive way to provide highly secure access to their resources wherever they reside. TAC provides significantly higher levels of security while enhancing mobility options and providing a vastly improved end-user experience across all devices.”

Total Access Control is also the only product to provide a direct migration from the end-of-life Microsoft UAG products.

“Many of our existing customers are looking for an effective solution to migrate to from their existing UAG deployments. TAC is the only product that provides similar functionality to UAG and can migrate existing UAG configurations directly into the Total Access Control product. For UAG customers, this is the best, most cost-effective migration available.”

TAC is in limited release today and is expected to be released for general availability in the third quarter of 2015. To be considered for inclusion in the beta program, contact PortSys directly or inquire through your local reseller or distributor.
